And the Light was here and spreading over the face of the world. He walked among us and showed us the Light. But the darkness feared the Light and sought to extinguish the Light. As the Light grew the darkness acted like a cornered animal and grew vicious and planned to extinguish the Light.
The darkness thought it had won the fight when the darkness had the Light crucified and He died on the cross. The darkness had put the Light out and put Him in the ground and thought the Light was gone once and for all as that stone was rolled in front of the Light. The world was once again in darkness but on the third day the stone was thrown from the Light and the Light emerged into the world again conquering the darkness once and for all times.
The Light will never be put out again. The Light and His salvation is still with us this Easter even as the darkness tries once again to put out the Light within us. It will fail for the Light conquered death for us that first Easter as He suffered on that cross for us and there’s nothing the darkness can do to stop the Light this time.
His Word will be on earth as it is in Heaven. Don’t let the light go out in you, believe in Christ and His promise of salvation. He paid our sin debt in full, take Him up on this offer if you are not yet saved. And if you are a born again Christian, and truly saved, have faith in Him. He will help us survive in this evil world we live in and be with us now and forever, and we with Him.
We see in the King James Bible where God shows us the Light and what the Light means to us and why we need to stay in the Light.
John 1: 1-14
“1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4. In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men. 5. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through Him might believe. 8. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. 11. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. 12. But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: 13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Here in John 8:12 the Bible tells us in Jesus own words: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
This verse in the Bible shows us in Jesus’ own words what the Light is to us, it is nothing less then our salvation. Look here in Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
On this Easter think of Jesus Christ and His resurrection and His conquering death for all of us. Think of all He went through for us. Now think of all He is doing for us all even this very day to help us in every way He can. So celebrate His resurrection, yes, but if you are saved by His shed blood and are a born again Christian, have no fear of what is happening in this world and those who chose to live in it. Good things are on the way, have no doubt, God bless you, and have a blessed Easter this year.
All Glory to God
