Don’t believe me, lets ask Paul. Paul wrote in Romans 8: 38 – 39 “I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”
And Paul makes the point again very clear in Romans 3: 23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”. He is saying the depravity of humanity is our problem, but it is the redemptive plan of God to save us by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone.
(Romans 6:23) “ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” That means that Gods love for us is real and will neither fade nor change, you can count on that!
Paul had good reason to know that God loved him as he recalled God loving him enough not to destroy him on the Damascus Road (Acts 9) and being loving enough to graciously spare his life and use him as an apostle. When Paul said “ neither death nor life” he meant that no condition between these two spectrums could turn God’s love off. The human condition does not change the fact that God loves you. God has never seen a person He did not love. From the worst of sinners to the greatest of His followers, dead or alive, God loves us all!
All Glory to God
