The Lord had a few words for me to write. I hope you find this teaching informative, and that we may all learn from them. Please take this as important as I think it is, for He usually works with me differently most of the time. I feel this is important for that reason.
Isaiah 28:5-13 “In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of His people.
And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people.
To whom He said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line: here a little, and there a little that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.”
Although this was written about the Samaritans a long time ago, it still has meaning for our times. These verses do tell of the Lord’s punishments and judgements in those days; these verses also tell of some people that profess to believe in Jesus Christ, and make a show of saying they do publicly, but don’t believe this in their heart. This was as true then as it is true today.
These verses tell also of the leadership of some churches today, and how they profess to teach and preach God’s Word and they don’t. Preaching to some is a good way to get rich and or powerful, or to spread confusion within the church they are preaching in. When a lot of church leaders work this way, those that are attending these churches are not getting the Word of God, and evil is bound to spread.
True believers are having a very hard time finding a good church to attend these days. If you read the Bible you know that the downfall of the Jews, just prior to Christ coming, came from the top down. The priests of the temple were ungodly and corrupt and so were the Jewish prophets that allowed the priests to do those things. This made their temple unholy and God left the house. His people lost their way and they became the most ungodly people on earth at that time. God eventually showed up and they all paid a very dear price for their blasphemy!
Watch out for these people and these churches and you should stay away from them, for they bring only trouble for the true believers in Christ.
You might ask after reading this how can I know who is not a true believer and what church is not teaching the true Word of God.
These are good questions to ask. First, the Holy Spirit in a born again true believer is alive and very alert. When you hear false doctrine not of the King James Bible, or the Words from the Bible not quoted correctly, the Holy Spirit will let you know something is wrong.
When you are sitting in a church and the pastor is not preaching the true Word of God, or is saying ungodly things in church, the Holy Spirit will let you know something is wrong. You need to then figure out what is wrong and what you need to do about it. In times like that in my life I try to think of what Jesus would do and do it myself.
I hope you see why you really need to know your Bible as good as you can. A thorough understanding of the Bible will help you to recognize a mis-quote no matter where you hear it. No one is perfect, we all get something wrong from the Bible now and again but those are innocent mistakes. I’m talking here about deliberate and continual and blatant mistakes from the Bible.
I hope this helps everyone; contact me if you need more information or help on this or anything.
All glory to God
